Osteopathy
What is osteopathy
Osteopathy is a manual therapy, that considers the holistic nature of the human body and the uniqueness of each one of us.
Based on the sciences of anatomy, biomechanics, and physiology, the osteopath aims to guide the person seeking care toward better balance in order to release tensions, symptoms, or pain. This approach takes into account our lifestyle habits—such as physical activity, nutrition, and posture—as well as our daily constraints and the somato-emotional states we experience. This is known as the bio-psycho-social context.
The osteopath’s goal is first to identify areas of tension, blockages, and loss of mobility in the body. Then, through the mobilization of different tissues, to come release tension and stimulates the body’s natural self-healing abilities in order to help restore each person’s adaptability.
The proper functioning of the body-breath-mind unit helps move toward a precious state of balance: health.
Osteopathy supports you in this way, both restoratively and preventively in your daily life or athletic activities.
During my sessions, I integrate knowledge from various trainings to offer you a holistic approach. holistic approach.
My diplomas and training
The therapeutic field is an ever-evolving approach. Since earning my initial osteopathy degree from CEESO, I have remained committed to ongoing training, continuing to grow in my practice, and keeping my knowledge up to date across various disciplines.
These postgraduate trainings are both deepening and broadening experiences, offering insights into diverse therapeutic perspectives.
This is what makes each osteopath unique — and every treatment different.
