What is osteopathy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Osteopathy is a manual therapy,<\/strong>that considers the holistic nature of the human body and the uniqueness of each one of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on the sciences of anatomy, biomechanics, and physiology, the osteopath seeks to guide the person consulting toward better balance in order to release tensions, symptoms, or pain. This approach takes into account our lifestyle habits\u2014such as physical activity, nutrition, and posture\u2014our daily constraints, as well as the somato-emotional states we go through: this is the bio-psycho-social context<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The osteopath\u2019s goal is first to identify areas of accumulated tension, blockages, and loss of movement in the body. Then, through the mobilization of different tissues, to release tension<\/strong> and stimulates the body\u2019s natural self-healing abilities in order to help restore each person\u2019s adaptability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
